Purchasing Agent

JOB SCOPE:
Capacity to manage purchasing department within custom manufacturing company. Experience in vendor relations, buying/distribution of materials, services, supplies. Keen market analysis skills. Lead purchasing personnel, work closely with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing managers. Lean manufacturing competency and total quality concepts a must.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in business, materials, operations management or equivalent
Minimum of five year’s relevant experience in planning and/or purchasing capacity
Minor in Business Administration a plus
Decision making / Leadership / Communication skills
