On display at PTX Canada and The Powder Show in Columbus, OH this spring will be various magnetic separation devices from Industrial Magnetics, Inc.
Designed to capture and remove ferrous metal contaminants from a product steam, the magnetic separators improve product purity and protect processing equipment from damage and are increasingly becoming an important part of Quality Control programs.
"Most processors recognize that magnetic separators are a key component in their quality control procedures", states Dennis O’Leary, IMI’s General Manager. "In fact, we have many customers who also rely on us to perform annual, on-site plant audits to ensure that their magnetic equipment is operating at peak performance in order to meet the re-certification standards of their quality programs. We welcome attendees to stop by and discuss their service needs for existing magnets as well as options for plant audit services."
IMI will display magnetic separation devices for dry, bulk, gravity-feed and pneumatic conveying, as well as magnets for liquid line processing. Also on display will be the company’s Magnetic Pull Test Kits used to perform strength testing on magnetic separators.
